The Heart 2 Hope Story
Cate is the author of the ‘She Is Connected’ Woman's Program & Senior Consultant of ‘Style Over Simplicity’ (SOS)
Your Heart
Our story around the many programs written or facilitated has been wonderful. ‘She Is Connected’ is our signature program run in Fiji in 2018 as a retreat. Cate and her husband Rob, started their program journey in 1994 as facilitators. After then attending as participants, and enhanced by the experience in both of their occupations and personal lives, they were asked to oversee and train other facilitators. They have watched many lives improved through self-esteem and personal development programs.
Your Home
SOS began as a decluttering service to couples struggling in their marriages. The initial referrals came from a psychologist who identified that conflict can increase when there are individual differences within the home environment. Cate watched the amazing results as she worked 1-1 with clients both men and women whose hope for their future relationship increased. SOS continued and expanded in the following areas:

-
Building team project management of client home renovations and styling
-
30 years improving their own homes with a focus on recycled materials and up-styling
-
15 years of short-term leasing property management experience
-
AirBNB super-hosts with over 200 reviews

Rob and Cate have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Together they have travelled through many things including cancer and immune illnesses. Cate was both 33 and 35 when she walked through this difficult journey. The strength and resilience gained during that period has enabled this family to face other unexpected hurdles in later years. Whoever knows what tomorrow will bring? Which is why connection and support is so important.
